Sussex England 2 dead in crane dismantle. There was a second crane on this site and it isn't clear as to why this one happened. Was the crane allowed to be overloaded? Did the crane make contact with another crane on site? It sounds like a failure in the dismantle caused the damage that you can see on this crane.

If anyone has information about it, post away.

We've all seen flying pallets illegally.

As an operator I lost pallet loads two different times because riggers were hooking up in the blind and I couldn't see what was happening. I crest the roof only to find that we are hooked up to a pallet of buckets... two different times, with different riggers. In one case I ran for the roof and got the load landing. It collapsed as I loosened the straps. The second one painted the brand new roof. Just what the owner wanted, I'm sure. The solutions are Pallet forks or Crane Materials Baskets. Or if you had loose items, we can use Stillage pallets or Bulk Bins as solutions too. All are crane rated meeting OSHA 1926.251 and ASME B30.20 as structural lifters.

If you need these or other items, you'll find them at seattletowercrane.com
